I am Pekiera Brooks, a licensed Physiotherapist who was born and raised in the beautiful island of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. After completing my undergraduate degree at Barry University I completed work experience at Memorial Hospital Rehab Centre before deciding to further my education This new chapter of my life earned me a master’s degree in Physiotherapy with most outstanding in clinical placements.
To gain more experience I worked in the NHS in London, completing all of my core rotations in different fields of Physiotherapy and then was successful in becoming a Band 6 Physiotherapist before returning home to offer my service and experience to the people of my community to offer a better quality of life after suffering a physically debilitating injury/ limitation.
