Dr. Jan Aler has been a general physician for over 15 years. He has spent the first half of his career (2009-2013) in general practice, working as the lead clinician in (2) two secondary level hospitals in the Philippines.
Dr. Jan Aler then moved overseas and started working as an Emergency Physician in Suriname, South America, in 2013-2015. In 2016, he came to the Turks and Caicos Islands and started working with Interhealth Canada as a Locum physician in the Emergency Department of Cheshire Hall Medical Center.
Later on, he became a full-time staff as a general practitioner in both emergency and outpatient department in Cockburn Town Medical Center in Grand Turk from 2017-2021, after which he joined Grace Bay Medical Center.
Dr. Jan loves to experience other cultures through music and food. He considers himself to be tech-savvy and is interested in the latest technological trends and gadgetry. On his day-off he enjoys playing games with his PC. He is into collecting fountain pens, perfumes and watches.
